Often we speak with professionals that want to brand themselves online and create exposure and also establish themselves as an expert in their field. There are several ways to do this but one we often suggest is starting a blog related to your industry or niche.
Starting a blog and sharing information about your industry can help brand you as an expert in your field and will help get your name out there. We have seen blogs work for several in many different industries, even those that are restricted somewhat.

This information does not have to be related to insurance. This will help establish you as a resource. To help brand yourself you can include a short bio on who you are and links to your insurance site.

We work with several people in the direct sales industry and blogs are a great way for them to brand themselves. You can share information on how to build a direct sales business and grow your sales force. We also have several in this industry focusing on health and wellness that have blogs that showcase what they do and also provide other health related information.
Everyone loves to read about great places to visit for vacation. Travel agents can start a blog that showcases great places to visit. This will help drive traffic to them when people are looking for a specific vacation spot and who do you want to book your vacation with …. Someone that doesn’t seem to know the best spots or someone who shares information and reviews and tips about the hottest vacations spots.
A blog is a great way for a health and fitness trainer to share information and provide a glimpse of their expertise. A fitness trainer that provides information to people is seen as a great resource and often draws them to do business with them.
